- Hostel inmates must occupy the rooms allotted to them and should not change/exchange rooms without prior permission from the Deputy Warden/Hostel Authorities.
- Hostel Furniture shall not be removed from one room to another under any circumstances. Students are responsible for the care of furniture and fittings in their respective rooms. The cost of furniture and fittings will berecovered from them in case of any damage or loss along with the fine of Rs.1000/-.
- Hostel inmates are not allowed to use extra electrical fitting in their rooms unless permitted by the Hostel Authorities.
- All the rooms, doors and windows should be kept neat and tidy. A fine of Rs.2000 will be levied for disfiguring of doors, glass panels, Furniture and walls of rooms from the resident(s) of the room in addition to the amount needed for repairing and repainting the above.
- Hostel inmates are not permitted to take away any articles/utensils etc., from hostel/mess premises, not even to their rooms.
- Laundry services will be done every 2 days, maximum 15 pair a month are permissible.
- Laundry Services are for basic/daily use clothes, no valuables or expensive items should be given, in case of damage or loss vendor will pay penalty of Rs. 300, hostel will take no responsibility for the same. The last entry times for the hostel for the boys is 11:00 PM, or as decided by the Institute from time to time. If any hostel inmate must stay out after the said time for any special reason, he must obtain prior permission from the concerned warden. Students reporting beyond the specified time will be dealt with disciplinary action.
- No parent/ guardian/ visitor of a student is allowed to visit the hostel rooms or stay in the hostel without permission.
- For any issues, complaint reporting at reception is compulsory. Complaint forms must be filled and signed by tenant. Work will be completed in 5-7 days period (Office timings: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm)
- If an inmate is compelled to leave the hostel in between the academic year for any reason (including medical),no refund will be initiated.
- A Collective fine of Rs.5000 /-will be collected from the residents of respective blocks for disfiguring the common rooms or damaging the public property of hostel blocks, in addition to the replacement cost.
- Use/storage of liquor, drugs, cigarettes, or any other intoxicants in the Hostel premises is strictly prohibited. If found any, it will be informed to the appropriate authorities to take further action and tenant will be evicted.
- Smoking inside the premises is strictly prohibited, fine Rs. 2,000/- will be levied.
- Abnormal activities of any nature causing disturbance to neighbours should not be carried out in the rooms.
- Hostel inmates should not paste any posters /pictures etc on the walls, doors, windows and shelves. Cut-outs should not be placed or brought in the hostel.
- Hostel inmates should not keep large amount of cash or costly items like mobile phones, camera, electronic gadgets, jewellery etc. in their rooms. Hence complaint about loss or theft about such costly items is discouraged.
- Hostel inmates should settle in their rooms at 9 pm at studies on normal days and at 10 pm on free night days (Saturdays and Sundays) & maintain silence.
- The hostel will be personally inspected by the Deputy Warden and other authorities regularly. The residents will be subjected to sever disciplinary action if they fail to follow above mentioned rules and regulations. Allotment of hostel seats will be for the full academic year. In case the resident wants to leave the hostel in the middle of the academic year, he/ she shall pay the hostel charges for the full academic year.
